Only registered Democrats are eligible for endorsement. The PAC’s recommendation is reviewed by the Stonewall Board which usually schedules the endorsement vote for the next membership meeting. All Stonewall endorsements must be approved by the general membership.
If the PAC is unable to agree on a candidate to recommend for endorsement, the general membership may consider the endorsement without a recommendation. At these meeting each candidate has an opportunity to the general membership meeting before the vote occurs at the meeting.
Threshold for Endorsement:
To receive club’s endorsement, a candidate must receive 60% of the votes of Stonewall members participating and voting over the course of the general membership meeting when to vote happens.
